Our mobile setup is fully self-contained and does not require external power (though access is appreciated). When requested, we can also enroll local students to attend your build, helping offset your cost with a percentage of guest fees while expanding rotary knowledge within your community. $1,000 - Bring your engine to Sonora, Ca. & enjoy a private rotary engine workshop while rebuilding your own engine. Up to 5 days in duration. May be divided into two separate visits to rebuild your own rotary engine under expert guidance. You’ll disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble your engine using professional tools and precision cleaning equipment provided on-site.

Over the course of 2–3 days, you'll gain hands-on experience with every step of the rotary engine restoration process. Whether you're a beginner or brushing up your skills, you'll leave with the confidence and knowledge to service and rebuild a rotary engine on your own.
You’ll learn how to:
Safely disassemble a rotary engine without damaging components
Inspect rotor housings, side housings, and irons for wear and damage
Clean and prep every part for reassembly using specialized tools and techniques
Understand seal function, bearing tolerances, and compression dynamics
Measure clearances and evaluate component health with precision
Port for performance (optional, when requested)
Reassemble the engine with proper torque specs, orientation, and sealing strategy
Avoid common mistakes that cause premature wear or failure
You’ll also leave with valuable insights into sourcing parts, choosing upgrades, and tuning for reliability or performance.
